Prominent dancer: Detlef D! Soost at FIBO active

Essen. Spectacular show acts and a huge variety of shopping possibilities: the FIBOactive Hall 6 is not just a place for looking on but also for becoming actively involved and testing the new fitness trends right on site. Whereas on 14 and 15 April only trade visitors will be moving around the completely booked-out exhibition centre in Essen, on the weekend (16 and 17 April) the Leading International Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Health will be opening its gates to private visitors as well. FIBO responds to the continuously growing demand from private visitors, 70 percent of whom come to the trade show primarily for shopping. In the FIBOactive segment, the trade show now offers an even larger choice.

Celebrity coach live on the ZUMBA stage

Planning is proceeding at full speed: once again, many familiar as well as new stars will present themselves on the ZUMBA stage. It will be exciting to see the brand-new design of the stage which will present itself with a different look this year. A special highlight will be Hollywood celebrity coach Harley Pasternak. He coaches stars like Oscar-nominated Natalie Portman, model and actress Eva Mendez, rapper LL Cool J or actress and Bond girl Halle Berry. Harley Pasternak will demonstrate to FIBO visitors how they, too, can get as fit as the Hollywood stars - from Thursday to Saturday on stage, in interviews and autograph sessions.

Things will get really hot when Tanya Beardsley enters the stage with her inspiring Zumba troupe. This dance trend from the US, which started its triumphal course through Europe at FIBO and is going as strong as ever, combines Latin rhythms and dance steps with aerobics moves. The right outfit is available right next to the stage: here ZUMBA presents the latest Zumba wear.

More shopping is offered in Hall 6 by, among others, Intersport and Sportlädchen (the Little Sports Shop). Opposite Sportlädchen, MBT presents shoes which provide a body workout even when the wearer is walking normally. In the enlarged martial arts area, visitors can find out about the latest trends. KWON will again bring martial arts teams to appear on the KWON show stage. New: the finalists of the big KWON Show Stars contest will also perform here - next to superstars like Michael Möller and Chloe Bruce.

Back again after the 2010 success: Realpulse. The team will not only demonstrate the spectacular acrobatic trend sport Parkour but also, with its "Jump and Run" project, worlds of movement which are increasingly incorporated in physical education in schools. The OM Sports Model Casting will take place at FIBO for the third time already. Anybody interested in becoming a sports model can apply directly with the OM Sports Model Agency in Hall 6.

Learning from international top presenters
Learning the latest moves from the world's best presenters? FIBO makes it possible and once again offers space for two top conventions on all days of the trade show: The International DFAV Convention will take place in Hall 5 and the LES MILLS Convention in Hall 8. In addition to the familiar LES MILLS programmes, the world's largest provider of group fitness presents its latest dance sensation: SH'BAM. At the DFAV Convention, visitors can learn from international top presenters like Jessica Exposito, Balázs Füzessy, Per Markussen or Jutta Schuhn.
