Helmut Klein was able to fall back on almost 15 years of experience with ergometers because of his career as a competitive athlete and national coach.

Since April 1992 emotion fitness sells ermgometers for professional users. The range of products was limited in the beginning and consisted out of imported cycle- and rowing machine ergometers. Especially expertise, willingness and a good product helped to succeed and to get a strong presence on the market. More and more emotions fitness tried to advance the technical development and advancement of the products by theirselves.   

In April 1995 the first self developed and built ergometer motion bike got introduced, which located itself, because of the quality and equipment, next to the best units on the market. In the summer of 1998 a complete cardio-line was on the market, consisting of the motion bike, motion cycle upright or recumbent, motion stair, motion x-walk and motion body. Later on, a chipcardsystem, the motion sprint and a training control software were added.

However the development went on, that way a new ergometer line could be shown at the FIBO 2004. Not just the design, also the technique and program-controlling convinced. The current cardioprogram includes the motion cycle 500, motion relax 500, motion cross 500, motion sprint 500, motion stair 500 and the motion body 500.

Since 2006 the motion power console 500 got added to the row of products, a console, which uses the approved chipcardsystem, to realize a power monitoring, independent from the unit and manufacturer. This system allows to control and to document the process of exercising, also when the units are not from the same manufacturer. This total system can be controlled with an advanced computer-software as well. 

In the year 2008 another big project got completed, the certification of the company emotion fitness as a manufacturer of medical products. With this a new market opened up which promised big chances for development. The new series of the MPG-certified ergometers – motion line 500 med – enjoys popularity since the beginning of 2009 all over Germany and in the European foreign countries.

The production of the ergometers only takes place in Germany at long-time partners of emotion fitness. Audience is in addition to the commercial Fitness-centres and leisure facilities the rehabilitations and prevention institutions and since January 2009 the complete medical market for therapeutic ergometers.
