Novelties galore at the 6th Fit for Fun Cycling Festival

Active participants or spectators on the sidelines: for both, the Fit for Fun Cycling Festival is one of FIBO’s highlights every year. The first group can reach new personal records with guidance from top presenters; the second can enjoy the unique scene of 800 participants all pedalling in sync with the beat. For the sixth time already, sports enthusiasts can take part in the large number of indoor cycling training units offered at the FIBOevent activity zone and even meet the challenge of a 4-hour marathon on Sunday.

FIBO rocks
For the first time, live DJs will supply the right beat at some sessions. Improved sound quality and a sophisticated lighting system make for a unique atmosphere. In the darkened hall, light effects will be particularly striking. Fruit, water and energy drinks will be available free of charge and help to push performance.

Indoor cycling for everybody
Anybody can join in, whether they are beginners, advanced athletes or experienced sports instructors. The festival starts on Saturday, 24 April 2010, at 10 p.m. with seven training courses of different levels. Registered teams will receive two team bikes which can be used for the whole day. Individuals can also register, however. The highlight of the Fit for Fun Cycling Festival is the 4-hour marathon on Sunday. Here, ambitious and experienced cyclists, in particular, can show what they are made of.

The festival also follows the latest trend in group fitness: kranking. At FIBO 2010, trainers and other interested persons can test this innovation designed to strengthen the arms and the entire upper body.

There is a limitation on the number of participants for the Fit for Fun Cycling Festival which was always sold out in the last few years. For this year, some places are still available at this point.
