The show stage is his world, but away from the limelight Joey Kelly performs incredible athletics feats. He is the pop star with the greatest stamina. He took part in eight Ironman competitions in only twelve months - a record never achieved before. The sport changed his life and to this day keeps taking him to the most exotic corners of the world - one of the things he will speak about on 19 April, starting at 12.30 p.m. at the Powerbar stand, Hall 1, Stand B18.

Barbara Becker presents new workout at FIBO
Always on the go, always in the media limelight, but always top fit: As a business woman and mother of two, Barbara Becker has a full schedule - but at every public appearance she is always in top form. At FIBO she now reveals how she does it. On 19 April at 11 a.m. in Hall 7 she presents her new book: "B.Fit in 30 Tagen - das Miami Bauch-Beine-Po-Training (B.Fit in 30 days - the Miami Ab-Thigh-Seat Training)", published by the Munich publishing house riva Verlag. Afterwards she will of course also take a thorough look at new trends at FIBO.

Meet top gymnast Fabian Hambüchen
Olympic bronze medallist, world champion, European champion: If you want to meet Fabian Hambüchen, you should come to the Powerbar stand on Thursday, 19 April. The German top gymnast will be here from 12.30 p.m.: Hall 1, Stand B18.

Fredi Bobic at Life Fitness
Fredi Bobic, former player on the German national football team and currently Sports Director with VfB Stuttgart, is a guest at Life Fitness in Hall 3, Stand A12 on Saturday 21 April from 9.30 a.m. He is accompanied by Dr. Christos Papadopoulos, fitness coach with VfB Stuttgart. Dr. Papadopoulos has a considerable track record in the scientifically based fitness training of professional football players (formerly with FC Schalke 04).

Meet the inventor of Kieser Training
FIBO friday is the day where FIBO visitors can meet the Swiss entrepreneur and inventor of Kieser Training, Werner Kieser, in Hall 1.

Pole vaulter Tim Lobinger at the lecture forum
Olympic champion, former vice European champion and winner of the Moscow indoor world championships in 2006, and now speaking at the FIBOmed seminars: pole vaulter Tim Lobinger. On 19 and 20 April he is a guest at the Perform Better Europe Functional Training Park in Hall 7. On both days at 3 p.m. he will speak at the new FIBOmed lecture forum in Hall 7.

Functional Training Guru Juan Carlos Santana at Technogym
Functional Training is the talk of the town - in the USA, Juan Carlos Santana is called the method's guru. He founded the "Institute of Human Performance" in Florida. At FIBO, Juan Carlos Santana holds a seminar on functional training in cooperation with Technogym. The seminar is scheduled twice: For 19 and 20 April, on both days in the Berlin room at 4 p.m. FIBO visitors can also meet Santana at the Technogym stand in Hall 3 / B 14.

TV nutrition expert from "The Biggest Looser" programme
At the Forever Living Products stand, fitness and nutrition expert Silke Kayadelen, known from a variety of TV programmes ("Projekt Paradies", "The Biggest Loser", "Besser Essen - Leben leicht gemacht") offers practical tips. Silke Kayadelen lives according to the motto "Get moving - no matter how!" which she also wants to promote among FIBO visitors.

Professional training with René Weller and Marcel Nguyen
Prominent guests at the Powrx stand are boxing legend René Weller and winner of the European gymnastics championships Marcel Nguyen. On Thursday 19 April, at 2 p.m. they will offer a "Professional Athlete Training" for FIBO visitors here in Hall 2, Stand C58. The following day brings more celebrities: Mia Gray, one of Germany's most successful Playmates, presents "Beauty Training", together with fellow Playmate Julia Schober, starting at 2 p.m.

Ralf Richter and the "stuntman with a heart" helping children
When he had woken up from his third coma, former stuntman Heiko von der Schlippen was sure: He wanted to give back some of his own good fortune. So he founded the "Stuntman with a Heart" charity through which he, together with celebrities like actor and Ruhr Area character Ralf Richter ("The Boat", "Was nicht passt, wird passend gemacht", "Bang, Boom, Bang") helps underprivileged and sick children. Television meanwhile has also noticed the committed "stuntman with a heart" who will son appear in a programme of his own. On the FIBO Friday, Heiko von der Schlippen and Ralf Richter are at FIBO together with some of their charges - and appear on stage with the band Flow 2 Soul.

About FIBO 2012
Every year in spring, the international fitness industry meets at FIBO, the Leading International Trade Show for Fitness, Wellness and Health. The next event will be held from 19 to 22 April 2012 in Essen. More than 600 exhibitors from more than 35 countries are expected. State-of-the-art training equipment, intelligent health promotion concepts under the umbrella of the FIBOmed concept which was specifically developed for this segment in 2008 already, up-to-date specialist lectures and action-packed events: FIBO not only offers the best overview of the market but also direct contact to companies and their innovations.
